I have created a link with a writing website called 100 word challenge.  This is hosted by a British website and every week a new prompt is released for you to generate some writing for.  When you completed your 100 word writing this is posted to our blog and then we link to the British blogsite where other people can read your pieces and leave their comments.  You can check on the 100word challenge website to see if anyone around the world has commented on your work.  THIS IS THE   LINK

Quirky??
Here are a couple of Quickwrites as a result of this picture, from the Yr 8 students

My breath is ragged and short as I pull myself along the thin wire.  The only thing that's going to break my fall is the fast flowing river.  Desperately my partner is pushing to reach the end.  His breathing sounded like chalk scraping on a chalk board.  Unconscious he fell down.  by Susannah

My hands shook as I moved myself forward again.  I can fight, persuade, defend and shoot without mercy but I cannot stand heights.  I looked over at my partner.  "You alright?" he asked.  I nodded in reply.  Suddenly the wind wind flew past me like a rocket and I lost my balance and fell.  by Emma
